Most streaming media service providers charge a standard monthly fee for the service as well as additional charges for the amount of space your media file uses on their servers. They also charge you extra for the type of quality you would like your media to be converted to and broadcast in. For live audio broadcasting, they will also charge you for the amount of listeners that you anticipate to your live broadcast. We, on the other hand, only charge you one flat monthly fee for any of the services we offer. Nothing extra for the quality of encoding, the amount of space your media takes up on our servers, and if you're broadcasting live, you can expect an unlimited amount of listeners to your live broadcast.
Audience Access:
Many streaming media service providers require proprietary software to be used to listen to or view their audio or video media. Because of this, corporate firewalls block interested listeners or viewers from accessing your streaming media because of the software encoding being transmitted.
Accessing Your Media:
First of all, you DO NOT need a website to start broadcasting your audio or video media online. As a paid subscriber to our services, you automatically get a FREE custom-designed web access page where listeners can access your media. Additionally, this access page includes information on your ministry (e.g. service times, schedule, location, contact info, etc.). Other providers simply provide a link on their website for others to access your streaming media. The problem with this is that your audio/video links can be imbedded on a webpage among many other media links from numerous ministries. This takes away the focus from directly accessing your media.
Media Encoding:
We provide all our paid subscribers FREE media encoding for on-demand media services. Unlike us, other providers charge separately for media encoding. Depending on the length of your audio or video media and the quality you desire to have it converted to will determine what your final price is for media encoding.
Service Plan:
We do not obligate you to a long-term service plan. Once you subscribe to our services, you are on a month-to-month basis until you notify us that you want to cancel your services. All we require is that you notify us 30 days in advance for service cancellations.
